Bowman Platinum Baseball Features Cody Bellinger's Rookie Card
Baseball fans are going to be on the chase for Los Angeles Dodgers standout Cody Bellinger’s Rookie Card. His first pack-pulled RC will appear in 2017 Bowman Platinum Baseball – a Walmart-exclusive product that hits shelves on July 5.
Bowman Platinum is printed on all foil board, giving an added flair to prospect and rookies cards.
Collectors will have three different types of ways to pick up 2017 Bowman Platinum: Collector Box (SRP $70), Value Box (SRP $20), and Fat Packs (SRP $6). The Collector Box will have two autographs.
Base Cards
The 100-base card set features top MLB veterans and breakthrough rookies of the 2017 season including Aaron Judge, and Bellinger’s first pack-pulled Rookie Card.

The main insert set is the 100-card Top Prospects, which showcases a number of the top prospects from the 2016 season, including Clint Frazier, Eloy Jimenez, Mickey Moniak, Gleyber Torres and more. The Top Prospects set will also include Purple, Green, Orange (Collector Box only), Royal Blue (Fat Packs Only), Black (Value Box Only), Gold Foil parallels, and Printing Plates.
In addition, there are 10 short-printed players in the Top Prospects set that includes Austin Meadows, Adrian Moregon, Bo Bichette, Bradley Zimmer, Cody Sedlock, Dominic Smith, Isan Diaz, Justus Sheffield, Matt Manning and Ozzie Albies.
Other inserts include Bowman’s Next Generation, Rookie Radar and Platinum Presence.
Autograph Cards
The autographed cards are filled with signatures from top rookies and prospects.
The 35-card checklist for the Bowman Platinum prospects autographs includes Blake Rutherford, Ian Happ, Jason Groome, Nick Senzel and more. Collectors also have a chance to pull rare foil board parallels that range from 150 copies to as low as 1-of-1 cards.
Bowman Platinum is not all prospects though. There are Major League Baseball Autographs that utilize MLB veterans and 2017 rookies. Look for Kris Bryant, Andrew Benintendi, Ryon Healey and more in the Major League Baseball Autographs set.
Other autograph cards include Tools of the Craft Autographs, Platinum Cut Autographs, Rookie Radar Autographs, and Platinum Presence Autographs.
