BGS Poppage....and my first pristine

This is only my 4th submission to BGS. My last results were 7 out of 10 were 9.5's. These results were definitely mixed. I received my first pristine grade but also got a 4 (wtf) and 7 of 12 were 9.5's. To be honest, I was stretching on some of them so I expected as much.

The only thing I can think of is that there is a surface wrinkle I missed as the other grades were 9.5 centering, 9 corners, 9.5 edges and a 4 surface....??????

I don't get it....Ive seen 50s vintage get better grades with worse than a surface wrinkle....

Thats what im saying....how does a card with a 4 surface but mint everything else get a 4????

And a Williams that probably has a lot of wear gets a better grade??? I is confused

I've received a 4, and a 4.5 on newer cards. One had a small crease that I didn't notice, the other I'm still not sure. Grading cards can be great for making profits on prospects, and very important on vintage, but for current PC I'm starting to not like it. I've cracked a few slabs this week of PC cards.

I examine my cards before they head out. I sent out a Topps David Price RC (why? IDK, a waste, and I lost my other 2 free gradings, I have to find them!!!!!!)

but it came back a 9, with a small indentation...

I would send it back to Beckett.

My 2009 Topps Ruth SP got a 9.5 =))))))
