Blake Griffin!

Amare should be having a better season with the team he is on, the system they run in New York and the fact he is not a rookie coming off of an injury.

Amare is having an amazing season, better than Griffin in almost every category except rebounds. Still a great season for Blake nonetheless

How can you say he should be better? He's arguably the the MVP if the season ended, that's like saying Kobe should be having a better season than he is now b/c of the team ,system, experience. The Knicks are not a great team, Amare makes them worlds better, and agreed the system helps but its not everything. The man is producing from the forward position no question about it, far more than Griffin is for that matter. If you want to make a point about the teams, you can say that Griffin pumps his stats in garbage time when the Clippers are being blown out. Its ridiculous to say Griffin is better than Amare right now.

he is mainly saying amare should be better than griffin because hes been in the league since 2002 and this is griffins first year...you brought up amare out of nowhere and compared him to a rookie...thats like if in 2007 there was a thread on how good kevin durant was and i came in and said...Kobe bryant is playing better, and no amare will never win mvp on a team that will finish around the 8th seed.

I didn't bring up Amare in the thread, rymflaherty did on the first page, but acknowledged he underestimated stoudamire, and Amare is having a great season, if the Knicks do make the postseason and Amare continues at this pace, it's very possible he is under serious consideration for the MVP
