I saw a post for Herzog, but not one for Erskine.

Erskine was one of 6 remaining Brooklyn Dodgers still alive. He was 97 at the time of his death. A TTM legend.

Sad, I remember in 2001 on lunch break buying a few packs of topps at this deli. pulled a erskin auto and a ichiro rc. those were the days.

Interestingly enough, in 2001 I was at the AS Fan fest in Seattle, volunteering. Erskine was appearing in the autograph line, but i was not going to be able to get into it, so my shift supervisor was able to get my card signed, a 1954 Red Heart! I didn't get to meet or see him in person, but still got a sweet autograph.
