While six leagues have the day off today in preparation for their All-Star games (Midwest, South Atlantic, Pacific Coast, Southern, Carolina and California Leagues), today is also Opening Day for the Appalachian, Gulf Coast, NY-Penn and Pioneer Leagues. The Arizona Summer League will open later this week.

Hopefully Buxton will make his Twins debut sometime this weekend. He just arrived in Fort Myers this weekend so they are giving him some time to settle in and get some swings in with wood bats. Also it looks like Oswaldo Arcia was promoted to AA New Britain. He is now listed on their current roster.
