Dom Brown HR (11)

Brandon Laird - to quote the Mask, "Somebody stop me!" - HR (14), 3 RBI

Aaron Hicks 2-2, 2 2B

The weird part about Laird is that he has done all this damage without ever making a single hot sheet or getting a single shout out. Not even a helium watch or anything. 62 RBI in 62 games as a 22 year old in AA. I was asking prior to the season where he would rank on the Yankees Top 30 and they seemed to think it was odd that I even mentioned him. It's always good to get vindicated a bit. I think he'll crack the Top 15 for the upcoming volume.

Now there's the Matt Moore I invested in.

Final line: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K

Me too. About time.

I'd be willing to argue that Wil Myers is hotter than anyone over the last month, average is up to .297 after tonight from the .220s about a month ago.

Sorry to harp on this, but these are Laird's numbers with runners in scoring position this year:

.429
33-77
8 HR
53 RBI
.477 OBP
.831 SLG
1.308 OPS

The downside is that he's only hitting .220 with the bases empty. 24K and 3 BB. Weird.

I'll take that trade off, rather than him hitting for **** with RISP
