I think it will stick for a while and rise as well....the reds are going to the playoffs and chapmans gonna be helping them for sure

Wow! Have you seen some of the closing prices on just single base/chrome 2009 cards? The 2009 chrome base are fetching ~$20 a pop and still climbing! I was seriously considering listing my 4 card lot (2009 2x base 2x chrome) for $15 with a BIN/BO and hope for $10 which was $2 more than my asking price a couple weeks ago on the transaction boards. Glad I ran it auction style now!

I love these types of feeding frenzies! I'm not a real prospector by any means, but I usually have a few of whoever to cash in a bit. It's times like this that really make the hobby fun, exciting, and profitable. I'm really glad so many of you are having a good, and profitable, time with this!

So that is $104.97 that I was certainly not expecting this morning. And I still have a refractor and 4 chrome left. Unfortunately I left by 20+ bowman base at home in Boston, hopefully I can have someone send them, lol

Well that is everything other than the base bowman. Total of 163.95 before fees and shipping. Pretty good if I do say so myself

So heres my experience with Chapman. I decided to try auction style and run a second listing as a BIN on my Blue refractor. Well to my surprise my BIN was hit last night for $125. I didn't find out until I got home from work and my auction was sitting at $92. I tried to end it but I could not so I had to have a friend bid $300 on it to make sure he won it. It ended at $193.50 :shock:

Talk about leaving money on the table. I really thought I would get $75-$85 for it but since I bought it for $40 months ago I am still very happy to get $125 and the buyer paid immediately.

I'm usually too lazy to list cards of hot call-ups, and I'm still kicking myself for not listing my Strasburgs, Boeschs, Dom Browns, etc. When I should have. So I listed a lot of 9 various Chapman Bowman/BC from '09 and '10, along with my Triple Threads #1/3 relic, as one day auctions earlier tonight. I'll be happy if everything covers the cost of that Triple Threads pack from last year, bought in a moment of weakness...
