I know a lot of 2012 Triple threads is being opened right now but three of the four Rickey auto letter patch booklets are out already after only two days of the product being out. Amazing. They look nice but it really bothers me when it's a Yankee's card and they show a Mets letter patch. The sticker auto also bothers me. Nice looking patches though.

I was just thinking the same thing 3/4 rickey booklets jumbo patches pulled already. I agree with the Yankee Uni just put him in mets!

Topps needs to get their sh$t together. Along with a patch that goes with a different uni is just stupid and they need to stop recycling photos too, I think there would be a few more photos out there. If they did not have the monopoly maybe they would take a little care withmwhat they present, of course by the time they figure this crap out they wont have any game used jerseys left to cut up and they'll move into a game used jock. The 1/1 I saw had a terrible auto on it.

This should help. You may be able to find some cheaper somewhere but I looked a while just to let you know. These drawers also come in white. The dividers are the best I could find too, you measure and cut with an exacto knife.

Only if you lay it down, but you might as buy a shelf to put the binder on. A shoe box would fit but I would just throw throw th shoe box out and get some dividers.

True. I have 5 binders full of pc cards and three shoe boxes. Not that big of a collection. I liked your setup and may do something similar. I have a 3 year old running around so I think I would be to paranoid to take my cards out of the shoe boxes lol

I got a new Rickey today, sort of. I cleaned out my filing cabinet for the first time in forever. Sitting in one of the stacks of mail to be filed was this:

2004 Leather and Lumber Silver 109 #024/100

If my calculations are correct (hard to tell without digging into the collection) I also have 2004 Leather and Lumber Silver B/W 109 #024/100. That would be a sweet set, if I really have it!


I was inspired to dig more, hoping to find the card I lost 7 years or so, who knows where... I thought maybe it was in there...

Alas, no... but with this big move, when we get a new place, I'm going to try to unpack every single thing I have. It has to be here somewhere. And I've always felt so bad for this guy named Dave Crum- he sent me my copy of "Off Base"- we worked out a trade for the card, and *poof*, I lost it and never saw it again. Maybe someday I can complete the deal... :lol: and you guys thought you had it bad!


Well, that's my Rickey related post for the year. I'll check back in next time I come up with one. It will probably be something like "Check out the nice Rickeys I just threw on eBay..."

I'm positive it is, it refracts while the others don't. Must be the scan.
