please ad my Karim Garcia 1/1:rolleyes:

Added to list. Thanks.

I'd assume those 6 players above (Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle, Maris, Munson) are represented as 1/1s
...out of roughly what...6000 or so cuts...we're literally looking for 1:1000.
Better odds of pulling a Ruth or Gehrig than I thought.
Maybe I will bust my one box afterall.
It's been sitting sealed on my desk for two days because the list of pulls so far has scared me.

I updated and alphabetized the list of cards pulled in the original post.
They're from current and completed auctions, as well as results from this board and the box breaks board.

Still no listings of monster pulls like Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle, Maris, Munson, etc.
I hope Leaf isn't holding these cards in later boxes so people still think they have a chance to pull them.

Please post in this thread if you see great cards pulled on other message boards, as I don't read Blowout, Beckett and other boards.

We are completely sold out

this product is getting entertaining. I'm on the lookout for a few since they are local athletes who played for the yankees or fit a niche part of my certified auto collection and a few of those players that you can get cert autos for $5 or less in other releases are having ebay BIN's or starting bids at $30 or higher.

It's entertaining how out of touch with reality a lot of those sellers are but it's totally understandable that they want to try to make the price of the box back so they aren't taking a huge bath by starting the auto at 99 cents or BIN'ing it at a reasonable $5. The sellers should just admit they paid their $30 and their gamble didn't pay off.

I took a shot with 5 boxes from Andrew - I figured it was a relatively inexpensive gamble. It didn't pay off, but fortunately my best friend is a huge Yankee fan so you know where these will end up. If you're still updating the list, the cuts I pulled were: Lute Boone 7/10, Kent Hadley 6/7, Dell Alston 7/9, Eric Chavez 7/9 and Fred Talbot 5/9.

How many of the thousands will sell for over the price of the box?

Very small %. And that's not hating on the product, just true.

Let's see
Ruth
Lou
Mantle
Mariano
Derek
DiMaggio
Will people like Berra bring that or really much more?

Who else?
I wasn't someone who expected those guys in each box, but the overall ROI I think is VERY low.

I can see Frank "Home Run" Baker selling for a bit more than the box cost.
I am sure there are some others.

Well, I finally opened my one box that I received on Friday.
I had kept it sealed because I was delaying the inevitable disappointment.

Not only was I correct (I got a 1/1 Juan Padilla, who played a whopping 6 games with NY in 2004), but the BGS case has a few surface pressure cracks in it, right on the signature, like something heavy was stacked on it before it was packaged.

I'd be happy with a 1/1 at least. Could be a Juan Padilla /10 lol

I know, but as a Yankees fan, I bought the product because I wanted a Yankees player, not someone who literally played six games with NY.
The cracked BGS case was just salt in the wound.

This stuff is junk, but with the big names in it there had to be a ton of crap loaded into the product for it to work financially. So I guess while it completely sucks people are getting a majority of garbage it also should surprise no one.
