Seriously???

You can send them back, but make sure you request Gem Mint already graded cards in return. I mean, you may as well make sure you get the BGS 10 that you're expecting straight from a pack.

Calm down no one expects a BGS 10 but quality control is appreciated for the amount people spend on these cards

+1 thanks for the help and productive post unlike the ones above

These posts show up every day.

OC cards do not warrant a replacement.

Packing damage like crimp marks, yes.

Something that makes a card a 9 instead of a 9.5, NO!

Thanks for the help but its just kinda frustrating a would be 9.5 gets brought down to a card not worth grading cuz of centering. Those two would be 8.5's no way a chance at a 9

That's why there is a premium for graded cards though.

If everything came out like a 9.5, there would be no need for grading cards.

Some come out great, some don't.

That is true very good point! Makes a BGS 10 from 2010 bowman really look rare

Thank you. I appreciate your rational discussion on it.

I really hate getting into discussions over this, but it has gotten out of control since Bowman came out this year.

Most of the time, people with the "Quality Control" argument are merely disguising it because their real motive is grading for profit.

I do wish they had better Quality Control on these and all cards, but they don't, we all know that, and you can't go and complain after the fact because you got one like that.

Especially since the basis of grading is that better grades are worth more. They wouldn't be if they all were perfect!
