Here are two that have been bothering me:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/201095635256?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

For this one, I did some searching around Ebay for other examples of these cards and tailored my offer based on those. Most of them I found for around $30-50. So I made my offer (which was actually quite a bit more than those had sold for) and told the seller what I had found them selling for as the basis of my offer, including a Vernon Wells. And I get a snide comment in the denial of offer. The seller said "Vernon Wells is NOT Sandy Alomar Jr." I'm thinking well yeah, Wells actually had significantly better numbers in his career.

This one just gets declined automatically.

Wow, yes, these two are exactly what the thread is meant to highlight haha... You haven't been able to get either guy to budge huh? Being an Indians fan, these are beautiful cards and I can see how they are just freaking annoying to see over and over again on eBay. I wonder what he really would accept or if he is just keeping them up to just tease collectors?

One sold (not yet redeemed) for about $65. I contacted this seller and said that exact thing and linked the auction. I added $20 and was declined. Today I offered $150, which is well higher than any other auto I've purchased. It was auto declined. Guy can keep it. He'll never get $300 out of it. It's /25 and should sell for about $65-70

I'll post up another LOL...

1996 Select Cert Mirror Blue Albert Belle PSA 9 (eBay 1/1!) for $140 - no chance this sells... been listed over and over and over again.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1996-SELECT...0958739145?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item51b6c55ec9

I think between my OP and this auction, that covers two of the eBay sellers some of y'all are also going to post about haha

Two years later and it's still up. A card I badly want but just can't bring myself to do it.

Do guys know how to fix the ebay link glitch this site has for some reason? None of the recently linked ebay cards are working (except the mobile one by Gjb).

I'm not positive, but the previous auctions listed are so old they are probably now out of eBay's data base...(the ones posted today work for me)

I don't want to derail the thread, but I'm talking about the links posted today. Don't work, take me to the main ebay page. If you have any suggestions send me a PM, thanks!

They all link for me fine on mobile.
I have a few I could add to this thread, may link later.
One seller I've talked to has a mantle I've been watching for 2 years bin of 2900. I had him talked down to 2/3 that but wouldn't go further.
He did offer me a lesser version for my initial asking price of 1500. A recent similar card sold at auction for half the cost. Irritating when I feel I have a pretty good handle on my pricing and I offer something more than fair and get nowhere.

It has been up for more than 2 years and he won' budge. The price is not even close to where it should be and I'm not sure it will ever find a home.

I've got this one but not graded. That said, I'm not a huge fan of graded cards anyways.

I really wanted this before I picked up the Archives 1/1. It was the only 1/1 I'd ever seen, and there aren't any parallels for it. Been on eBay for at least two years

The crazy thing is I've offered him $300 before and he turned me down. I'm not that familiar with the set, but I doubt anyone else on the planet would pay more than $50

He will never sell that card. Should have taken your money and been happy
