Topps card in what is being sold as a Bowman product, auto looks terrible, all the usual laughable signs, yet it's still well over $200. This has been going on for 4 years. People should know about this by now. The people who are buying these cards obviously have no problem with fakes and cards that aren't on any official checklist. It just seems too easy. It's just so tempting to write an obviously forged auto and sell it for $250. I mean ultimately the buyer needs to do a little homework. I've always wondered what would happen if I wrote "A Plujo" left handed in ballpoint pen on a Bowman card and billed it as a Bowman Originals auto. I bet it would still sell for over $50. Which is good for a base card and 5 seconds of work.
I don't want anyone to think I am actually advocating this or considering doing it in real life. It's just tempting when buyers are so uneducated, is all I'm saying.
