Who was the Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2011? Answer Dylan Bundy. But, did you know he didn't even win Player of the Year for his home state of Oklahoma? He lost to Archie Bradley.

But no one thinks that Bradley is a better prospect than Bundy. That doesn't necessarily mean that Bundy is a better buy, but he's widely considered the better prospect, and i don't think it's even close since I have NEVER seen an "expert" say they like Bradley more.

Bradley beat Bundy heads up in the Oklahoma title game correct?

Is taller?
Had an offer to play QB for Stoops?

While not a sleeper, he isn't as far behind Bundy as most seem to think in my opinion.

Incorrect, based on what I could find, Bundy beat Bradley during the season, but Bundy did not pitch in the championship game because he had just pitched

I like Bundy too, but I believe that beautiful Blue Ref auto you just sent me has something to do with it. :D

Seriously though, we could prognosticate all day and still get nowhere. They both have glowing reports, Bradley sells for around 40% less than Bundy and might just be a better buy right now I don't know. As far as who is the better prospect, I say we let them actually play a season in the minors, or at least a part of one, before we decide that.

Touche! But I was only correcting your statement. Bradley dominated the championship game, but Bundy won their only head to head pitching matchup.

Yes, we definitely both have reason to be biased. But the money that I have sunk into Bundy isn't swaying my decision, quite the opposite actually. My Bundy preference swayed where my investment dollars went

And I concede that Bradley very well could be the better buy right now

Did Bundy play for another team then transfer midseason?

From what I can find Owasso never faced Broken Arrow prior to that championship game.

Maybe it was when they were juniors, here's where I got the info:

[youtube:22dtyz73]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUTf1xE4cPU[/youtube:22dtyz73]

The video's description says this:

Uploaded by SportsNetOklahoma on Apr 17, 2010

The much anticipated battle between top-ranked Owasso's Dylan Bundy and third ranked Broken Arrow's Archie Bradley came down to Owasso's ability to get to Bradley early and the Tigers' inability to produce runs against Bundy.

Based on the date it must have been when they were juniors
