Make that 2 jacks in his first 2 ABs.

Mat Gamel 2 HR (6)
Breakout year??

My 100+ chromes and assorted other crap sure hope so.

But one could have made plenty of money a few years ago when he was teamed with LaPorta and they were constantly tag-teaming the BA Hot List every week. I hedged and sold just enough to make back all of my investment and now havea bunch of stuff I'm sitting on.

What in the effenne-heimer is it going to take for Jonathan Lucroy to build some hype?

Quick, someone point to an MLB starter having a better spring? The guy is still hitting .500 and has a TON of ABs this year, so it's not like he's got a substantially reduced sample size compared to other MLB starters (position dependant).

Although it was an exhibition game, Tom Milone was perfect against Oakland's AAA affiliate tonight.

I was just thinking the same thing. He had a little wave last year, but nothing is moving yet this season.

Its just not gonna happen. Some people just get no love and he looks like one of them.

And you need to sell now on gamel. He can rake in spring and the minors, but will never figure it out in the majors. Im not buying this spring AT ALL.

Based on what data? His 171 ABs in the majors over the last four years?? The guy has never had a chance to get regular ABs at the big league level. I don't understand where the "Gamel can't figure out big league pitching" mindset comes from. He has never had a chance to figure it out.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting .300 and 25+ HR, but I think Brewer fans are going to be very surprised by his production this year.

Is that just because you want Hunter Morris at 1st? ;)

I dont care if morris gets to the bigs to be honest. I know him and thats why i collect him. If hunter cant learn to take a walk or play defense he has no shot.

I have my opinions on gamel and thats that. As a brewers fan i hope he does bat .300 with 25+ but im thinking more .245 18 hr
