Jack Magruder of FOX Sports Arizona reports that Tyler Skaggs will be called up to make his major league debut in Wednesday's doubleheader against the Marlins.
Skaggs was scratched from his start Monday with Triple-A Reno, so the Diamondbacks appeared to be leaning in that direction. The 21-year-old southpaw has a 2.87 ERA and 116/37 K/BB ratio in 122 1/3 innings this season between Double-A Mobile and Reno. He could be worth streaming in deeper mixed leagues and could have some value in September as well.
