Touchscreen compatible cards? How could it be used?

There's got to be some way to utilize this to add a dimension to cards. Any ideas?

ID'ing the original swatch/patch that was in a card. Touch the card to the screen and it takes you to a manufacturer's database photo showing the card as it was packed out.
I know, probably too much to ask. Ha.
