I had read/heard somewhere, they (Topps) were sending a significant amount of the production run (10%+) to Japan. I did not hear anything about the exclusive inserts....

Yep, that is where I read about the Japan allocation.....I liked this bit of info:
"According to Topps, it will be adding 134 new 1/1 Superfratcors — 34 of those signed — to the product."
