Need help identifying

I went to target this morning and found some blasters of 2012 Allen & Ginter's I grabbed two. Really a neat product great cards. I pulled two minis I'm unsure of can someone tell me what I pulled???

First Colin Montgomerie looks normal but hand numbered on the back

Second my first Mike Trout pull... I believe it's the black boarder. Am I correct???

The Montgomerie is a mini bazooka back /25. Pretty nice pull from retail!

The Trout is a Black Border like you mentioned.

2012 did not have Bazooka backs.

What's the deal with "black borders"? Are they something special? Worth more? Or just a variation giving player collectors one more thing to try to add to their collection?

Thanks guys I appreciate the insight I use to feel the same way about Monty then he stopped playing as much and became tolerable lol Lee Westwood is the new Monty big cry baby
