#1 starter last year, Ricky Romero can't even make it past the 1st inning in AAA.
0.2IP 5 hits 8ER 3BB 0K

So far in AAA- 13 IP 23 hits 20 ER 20 BB 3 K's 13.85 ERA in 4 "starts".

Short of a Roy Halladay reboot I don't see him coming back up to the majors.....:(

Romero put on waivers 2 days ago. There were no takers with his 20MM price tag. :/
Morrow on the DL. Looks like open tryouts for the Jays.

I'm glad I didn't dive head first into collecting him a couple years back.

Blue Jays fans, what went wrong? He was always such a great pitcher and nowadays he just doesn't have anything. Is it mechanics or an injury or just the mental aspect? I always liked watching him pitch and always saw a long solid career for him. Things can change real quick, huh?

Maybe he needs Susan Sarandon to get him right

Barring a hidden injury I think that it might be mental. How else do you explain the huge amount of walks (and hits)? Knoblauch-esque. Pretty hard to see a guy go from #1 on the rotation to waiver material in a year+.

Hey, he's actually worse than Daniel Bard!

12.2 IP, 13 H, 9 ER, 17 BB, 6 K, 13.85 ERA

Bard has been on a "little break" since his last appearance on May 15th, one inning, walking 5 and throwing two wild pitches.
