I've got $500 burning a hole in my PayPal pocket. Want to spend it tonight on one card. I'm hoping some of you can give link me some eBay auctions that you think will work. If I end up buying a card you recommended a prize will be sent your way. I collect Cardinals, and HOFer PSA graded rookies....GO!

*If I don't pull the trigger on one, I'll do a random post number drawing for a prize.

If nothing else fits, I would go for the 2001 Leaf Certified patch. Very nice cards with pictures of the actual jersey that the patch comes from and it seems to be quite a popular set. The nice thing about the Maris is that it is serial numbers. I was lucky enough to snag this one in a big trade a few months ago. All patches from this set seem to have serial numbering except for the Hank Aaron and maybe another player or two, but the "Numbers" die cut is proven to be a true patch card. This one is SP'd /44:

I had the same issue, just not online, I had $350 burning a hole in my pocket so I went to a local antique store and laid eyes on a nice 53' Bowman Mantle and her asking price was $550, so after careful negotiations, I was able to bring her down to meet my $350 and I left a happy camper.
