With this semester winding down, I'm looking ahead to the future. Next year I will be moving to a hockey hot-bed in Minnesota.

With 3 college teams, a junior team, and a handful of high school teams, I'll be swimming in graphing opportunities.

Now, I've been to many sit-down signings with hockey players, but I've never actually gotten autographs at a game.

What is the best way to go about it? Get them going in, coming out, during warmups? How do I go about it?

From my experience they do not sign after warmups. If you are willing to wait, in say 20 minutes after the game, they will sign post game. If you are lucky and found coaches sitting somewhere in the stands during warmups they might sign. I got Terry Ruskowski and Paul Gillies autographs that way.
