I agree. One of the best vintage subjects I've seen IMO, and I love seeing your new pickups.

I love the batter-ups, and I always forget about them when looking for vintage Louisiana guys.
Thanks man, I miss seeing your additions, have any recently? As far as Batter Ups go, commons can be had for a decent price, even if the backs are removed. Those are actually quite fun, like so! Jimmie Foxx for under $10! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1934-era-ba...1240029357?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item1c3a7808ad

Zan - good to see your Greenbergs back on the board! Your Greenberg collection kind of inspired my Rabbit Maranville collection. Funny, I bought two Maranville's for Christmas, and one was a Black 34 Batter's Up too. I've got a green as well, will be going for the other 4 in the rainbow as well.

I encourage you to create a thread for your Greenbergs in the vintage section, and post your pickups as you come by them there so we can all keep up with your great PC. I've been doing it that way, and it works well.

Thanks for the note man, glad I could inspire your collection, even just minimally! This, I've found is not an easy task. I've seen that there are 6 color variations via this helpful link: http://www.oldcardboard.com/r/r318/r318.asp?cardsetID=876, however I have only seen 3, the red, black and blue. Interested to see how long this takes me to finish. Any idea if other colors are rarer than others?

I don't think any of the tints are valued more than the others. I've seen 5 of the Maranville colors, only one I haven't seen is Brown Tint.
