I was just wondering if there's any connection between a card being better quality (meaning grade-wise) with sticker cards. They aren't handled by the player or transported back and forth, so there is less wear and tear. I've seen videos of some guys signing cards, and they just fly through them, and it's easy to see that some cards could get banged up.

So do sticker autos generally get better grades (at least condition) than on card autos?

Cards that are prone to chipping will chip whether or not a player touches them or a monkey applying a sticker.

There are thousands of on-card BGS 9.5 autographed cards out there and thousands of sticker cards with BGS 8.5.

So in theory it should make a difference, however quality control is always suspect no matter the who/how/where when it comes to autographs.
