I havent had a lot to cheer about this season but my Reds are on FIRE!
Jay Bruce is finally hitting the ball with regularity, Joey Votto is still hitting but his base running is still favoring his knee injury, Mesoraco and Frazier has cooled in the last few days but Phillips, Cozart, Heisey, Hamilton and Schumacker are all getting key hits when theyre needed.
I cant say enough about the pitching! Cueto, Simon (who knew he'd make a decent starting pitcher?), Leake, Latos & Bailey seems to be the best starting pitching staff in MLB right now.
2 of 3 from the Pirates, Cubs and Blue Jays (not easy to do) and a SWEEP in San Fran, bumps them up into 2nd place ahead of those Cards!
