Jack Buck- just simply the best
Vin Scully- sustained excellence forever
Ernie Harwell- professionalism
Harry Caray- entertaining

A couple of the Phillies young releivers were ushered up to the Dodgers pressbox tonight before batting practice to meet Vin Scully. That had to be the highlight of their year.

Uecker changed the profession from simply informative to entertaining. The mark of the greats, Scully, Uecker, etc. is that people you might consider for this list (Costas, Michaels), actually look up to these guys.

Harry Kalas was great at every sport he did, but baseball was his best.

I'm one of the few who actually enjoy Bob Costas.

And the "Kinerisms" need their own Mountain.
