Treasure Hunters JULY *COMPLETE*

This will remained locked until June 23rd. However Since I need to figure out who's keeping their team, I am posting this now.

Heres how these breaks are going to work:

You sign up for a team and you get that team in every one of our Treasure Hunters box breaking group breaks until you let that spot go. However if you let the spot go and someone else signs up for that team they will have ownership of that team for as long as they want.

We will be doing at least 1 mixed box break a month. I will announce the boxes that we'll be doing at the first of the month. Then the money will be due within a week or two of filling it up. Once the break is finished we'll discuss what boxes we're going to get for the next month. We still have to fill 16 slots so once everyone has signed up i'll open it up to the public. You can get multiple slots as well.


This is our monthly group. When you sign up for a team you have the rights to that team in every break. We will be doing mixed boxes every month. Also will be doing cases when something special is out or the group decides. We will vote and discuss boxes before the 1st of the month. Anyone can sign up as long as the team you want is there!

June's Break: 7 Boxes Donruss Classics, 1 TBD

Decided to try something here. I decided to try 3 different dealers for the boxes.

2 from charmcity (Shipped Monday, should have them thur or friday)
2 from blowout (IN HAND)
3 from ATL (IN HAND)
1 Topps Jumbo Box from ATL (July 23rd release date)

*Cgilmo has announced to me that someone will get their slot price refunded right before the break! I will draw a name from the bag of giving (lol) and that person will have their slot refunded! FCB does this because of us using the banners and the ebay search so keep using those and there will be give aways!

2009 Donruss thread everything I found says about the same:
4 auto or gu per box with a 12 box case

Now Topps Chrome has decent rookies but 1per2 packs...and 1 really good auto per box so not very many hits but there should be some decent ones...

I am thinking the better amount of hits is good for the group either 1 case of the thread or R&S or 1/2 case of each???

what do you think??

I voted Threads. Of course I definitely think it should either be Threads or R&S. A case is going to give us more hits and more potential for that BIG hit instead of random boxes. Topps is nice and all, but there are going to be a lot less hits to go around.

I prefer Threads to R&S, but either way, I think we would be much better served doing a full case of either of those.

agreed..I am jsut going to hold out on what case out of the two..simply because I think the cost is the same and the hits will be the same so I am getting picky and looking at what the next level down of inserts and base rookies will be out of the threads since I like those too..lol..either way i think chrome is out no matter what way we go

will be up all night working a 30 hour shift so I am just full of questions and nothing to do..lol..how do the extra teams get picked exactly? There are still a few good teams left and was thinking about buying another slot (wife already told me no) so I was just wondering how that works out?

Should just buy another slot...

I usually just put all the left over teams in random.org and click randomize and thats your team. I post a pic of a screenshot of it.
