I mean can you see someone wearing one of those red ones with "Braun" or "Soriano" on the back? It would look kind of weird imo.

They seem to have gotten more home-specific over the years. Here's an example from 2003. It's black for the White Sox, but that's about it:

I bought a 2008 AS Joe Nathan at Twinsfest in January. I like the Yankee Stadium "white fencing" look to it. The Arch on the logo here is a nice touch-like the Golden Gate Bridge from the SF ones.
