When I was living in Chicago in the '90s and '00s, I think I got spoiled with the National and the Sun-Times shows. I've traveled to the National a few times since moving to MN but the added expense and time has limited the number of big shows I've been to recently. That said, I'm excited for the MN Card Show this weekend. The inaugural version last year was at the Hyatt in downtown Minneapolis and seemed to be a decent medium sized show. This year, they have moved the show to a much bigger space and are advertising 450+ tables. They've also added a decent sized autograph list with several baseball HOFers and a number of Vikings players.

I'm planning to attend on Saturday. Any other FCBers planning to attend?

Went to the card show on Saturday. Show was well attended and there was a decent mix of dealers. As always, I was looking for cards to add to my Jack Morris and Alan Trammell collections. Didn't see much but was able to pick up a low-numbered Morris card from 2023 Donruss that I didn't have. Passed on a couple of nice Riley Greene Topps Chrome refractor autos as the dealers were substantially higher than ebay. Picked up a couple other nice cards for the collection including a 2017 Five Star Al Kaline auto and a TCU Juan Soto. Spent a lot of time digging through boxes of low end auto cards, and was quite successful at finding Tigers cards. Ended up with 30+ certified auto cards that were all in the $2-$5 range and 4 1985 Topps IP autos.

It was a long, fun day at the card show. I'll post up a couple pictures later.
