My Yankee autograph thread

I have recently started working on an auto collection of the Yankees championship teams from my lifetime (96, 98, 99, 00, 09). I need any player who played in a game during that season as well as the coaching staff. I am looking for all autos to be in Yankee uniforms; certified if possible, it not I will take TTM/IP. According to my tally there are 110 different players/coaches from the 96-00 teams, and 50 more for the 2009 team. I have a long ways to go considering I haven't even started on the 2009 team. Some of these autos are in the wrong uniform (***) but I am looking for upgrades.

Thanks guys! I had wanted to add an autograph element to my PC and after some deliberation I came up with this idea. I feel strongly about collecting players that I have seen play and rooted for so this is a perfect fit.

I am currently working on making of list of guys to whom I can send TTM requests. Hopefully I can cross of some more names that way since 2/3 of the guys from the 90s teams don't have Yankee certified autos available.

Thanks for the offer. I have a nice stack of base available but I will let you know if I am missing anyone. I have also been buying those 80s Fleer Yankee logo/stickers at shows for guys that don't have cards in Yankee uniform.

Only cards? I think 8x10 photo or book signing are very popular among retired players.

championMan - I'm sticking to cards for now. I don't have the space to display photos at the moment, but I am planning to eventually get framed photos of my favorite Yankees. I can't believe I forgot to add the Aldrete you had sent.
