Just went to the local card shop and saw a jumbo box of 94 Ultra in it's "vintage" section for $12, so I got one. 17 cards per pack, and 1 insert per pack. The slogan was a game in every pack.
There were 6 different inserts possible, and they ranged from 1:3 to 1:36.
The highlights:
Base cards of pretty much any star player in the set.
About a dozen Award Winners inserts including Griffey & Bonds.
A few Ultra Firemen inserts including Eckersley.
About 5 Phiilies Finest inserts, these included Kruk & Daulton.
A few second year star inserts, Salmon was the biggest one, lol.
A few League leader inserts, highlighted by Randy Johnson.
And the one per box hit was the RBI Kings insert, and I got... Juan Gonzalez!
(Hey, he was darn good then, I think he won a couple HR titles.)
The good:
Nice looking base cards and inserts, love all the gold foil.
The bad:
Some cards stuck together and all the inserts were on top of the packs and a few damaged.
Overall:
A pretty fun break for $12 even if no card I got would sell for over a buck. I think I got a complete set and love the card design and like how you can display the cards in the box.
