So... I recently acquired an auto'ed ball from my Grandpa who used to live in MN. There are quite a few sigs on the ball and was really only able to distinguish one (Kirby Puckett).

This ball was not taken the best care of as most of the autos are faded. Would love help determining who the rest of the sigs on the ball are (my guess would be a mid to late 80's team).

Scan 1:
Scott Erickson: '90-'95
Juan Berenguer?: '87-'90

Scan 2:
Matt Walbeck?: '94-'96

Scan 3:

Scan 4:
Kirby Puckett: '84-'95

Many thanks in advance to any who can offer some help on this. Will most likely be getting a cert on this if the sigs look legit.

Thanks,
Jacob

that first one on scan 1 looks like Scott Erickson......he was first on in '90.....but that sig looks like it may have been added later. It looks newer. Could you be looking at different years, possibly?

Below Erickson could be Juan Berenguer.

I guess a good question too would be does the Puckett look legit? Obviously that would be the one I would be most interested in getting authenticated... It would be cool to find out what the other auto's are/what year the team ball is from.

Thanks,
Jacob

I guess that could be a possibility as the Erickson and Puckett are much more bolded that the others. i guess there is a possibility the ball was an ongoing project throughout a certain year and the Puckett and Erickson were signed with a better pen. I would ask my Grandpa, but at 90 I doubt he would remember.

Thanks

Think I know most of them, should be a 1994 team ball, possible 1993:

Scan 1:
Top one tough to see with scan above Erickson
Scott Erickson
Wayne Terwilliger 1st base coach (not Juan Berenguer)
Pat Mears
Brett Merriman (I think)
Mark Guthrie
Scott Leuis
Ron Gardenhire (current manager, used to be coach)

Scan 2:
Hard to see who it is above Rawlings logo.
Pat Mahomes
Pedro Munoz? (I think, tough to see with fading)
Matt Walbeck
Last two are tough to make out with the fading, possibly catcher Derek Parks?
Bottom does look like Larry Casian?

Scan 3:
Rick Stelmazek (bullpen coach)
David McCarty
??? Possibly Carlos Pulido??
Kent Hrbek
Dick Such (Pitching Coach)

Scan 4:
Chuck Knoblauch
Kirby Puckett
Rick Aguilera
Jim Deshaies
Dave Stevens
Jeff Reboulet

Sweet spot is manager Tom Kelly.

I had them all exactly the same...including the ones you weren't sure on. Has to be 1994 because it was the only year Pulido & Merriam played together. The only "big" auto's missing would be Dave Winfield & Kevin Tapani

Wow! Thanks so much for the help, last two posts thanked.

Now, I'm planning on getting it authenticated in the near future. Should I just authenticate the Puckett or the entire team ball (not really sure how that would work)?

Thanks,
Jacob
