2010's not done yet, but given Heyward, Stanton, Leake and Stras, I'm gonna say this year.
I was thinking this too. Don't forget Jaime Garcia, Buster Posey and Gaby Sanchez.

your missing someone with better batting stats than every player named...brennan boesch (yes better than the great heyward as well 1 more HR, 4 more rbi's, 20 more hits, almost 100 point higher batting avg 21 less k's and heyward has played in 6 more games)

A-Jax ain't too bad of a player either.

At this point it has to be 2001 with two of the best players of all-time (Pujols, Ichiro), but in 5 years or so, 2010 may be one of the best rookie classes ever.

Ike Davis and Jon Niese are pretty good too. The Pirates have a few guys that can turn into stars and the Reds pitching staff has two pretty good young players(Leake, Wood)

Potentially if they can keep it up.

Francisco Liriano should be included in the 2006 class. He pitched in a few games in 05, but he was still considered a rookie (eligible for the ROY) in 2006, finishing 3rd in the voting.

Nick Markakis was in 2006 as well.
