I wasn't very happy with 2009 Topps Finest mainly because of the change from three autographs to two manufactured letter autographs. I've already mentioned my issues with the manufactured letters in my review of 2010 Topps Finest baseball. Luckily, Topps has changed how the product is presented, although I still have some reservations about it.
Instead of two manufactured autographed letters, 2010 has a rookie autographed patch (actually player-worn) and an autographed dual patch. The pigskin refractors from last year are gone, replaced by die-cut rookie Atomic Refractors. Those are the major changes, and I have to say this is an improvement over 2009, but not quite back to where we were before that.
Release Date: September 23, 2010
Price Point: Approximately $10 per pack, $55 per mini-box or $90 per box from Blowout Cards.
Product Loadout: 5 cards per pack, 6 packs per mini-box, 2 mini-boxes per master box, 8 boxes per case
Hit Ratios: 1 autographed rookie patch card and 1 autographed dual relic per box. Each mini-box has 1 Finest Moments insert and 1 rookie die-cut Atomic Refractor.
