Hasn't this thing already been up like 3 times and always gets pulled or doesn't meet reserve? The first time was big news...now it just seems like a routine that ends with no sale.

It's been up on Ebay many times. Is it still original owner selling it?
It sold for a little over 5 grand in regular auction, but didn't meet reserve. BG said he made a strong offer for it in one of many threads on here about this card and got turned down. Ebay is loving the fees it's collecting on this card.

listing fees probably aren't that much on it. auction fees for items @ $200+ starting bid are only $2. no fvfs unless the reserve's met. i don't know why the seller didn't haggle w/BG offline

BG only offered $6750 for it and wouldnt make any other deals for it.That was the only offer he put on the table .Other people had made $8000 to $11000 offers for it which were not excepted.The reason why alot of people said they wouldnt offer higher is because at the time he didnt sign with the nationals and was afaid of him not signing.

I am certain I offered $8k... regardless, I was a buyer at $8-9k, but as you said, you were going for the gusto...

Good luck.. I still think Bryce is a stud and $6-8k is still possible someday...
What if he signs an excluisve with a company besides Topps (Panini, ITG, UD or someone else

)?
