With the Rangers apparently being possible WS participant, I'm starting to wonder if I should try to buy a ticket and make the drive up to Arlington. Does anyone know what the face value of tickets are? There are a few for sale on Stubhub already but they are the fairly ridiculous scalper prices ($430 for a top-of-the-stadium seat). I don't care where I sit, but I don't want to pay even half that price for the pleasure. Looking at least year's tickets, seems like $100 is the bare minimum, more like $125 or so.

It looks like the face on the tickets will be:

Corner Box $190
Lower Reserved $150
Upper Box $75

I believe the seats better than Corner Box are something like $225 or $250, but I can't find the info.

I paid $450 for Game 5 tickets last year about 4 rows off the field on the 3rd baseline...but that was after the Phillies went down 3-1 and ticket prices came crashing down. They had been $1500 seats two days before.

The Atlanta suburbs
Back in 1999, I got a Standing Room Only ticket for $25 in Atlanta vs the Yankees. The place was PACKED with Yankee fans. Why? It was cheaper to fly to Atlanta, get a room for the night, go to the game in Atlanta and fly back home, than it was to get a ticket to the see the Yankees in Yankee Stadium.
