Who finished out 2010 strong with their Player Collections ?

I closed this year with some really good December deals on some cards and alot for the PC!
Did other player collectors do the same ?

I finished a pretty good year off with the red crusade which also completed the rainbow for me. my photobucket has all of the cards I've added this year and looking back I did really well adding quality stuff on a budget.

I went crazy this year. I added about 300+ new cards and other stuff to my Henderson collection. Spent a ton of $$ though.

2010 was a total change for me. I bet I added only about 20 new cards this year, and more than half of them were from 2010 Topps 1 and 2. I used to add at least 75 or so.

Now I'm hoping for one card per quarter this year.

I did ok. Added a lot to my Eddie Murray collection. Quite a few Erstads and just a few Will Clark's. Bucky Jacobsen was only about 4-5 cards maybe

Not much for Sizemore, but I got what turned out to be a pretty good deal on a couple Frank Thomas cards. First was a 1997 Leaf Sig Notable Nicknames auto, then right before New Year I won a 1995 Select Artist Proof. That one used to be a $250 card, IIRC, I got it for about 1% of that, 15 years later. After 1993 Finest Refractors took off, these cards were the next big low-print-run parallel.

i just really started again last year with my bernie collection, lost the first because life came first had to sell.
but very happy with the two in my sig. and a few others i picked up.

I've got one that should be hear by Saturday, at the latest. A solid year in JJ cards, but I missed a ton due to funds just not being there.

I did great with my Hak Ju Lee collection

My Peyton Manning collection made huge strides in the final quarter of 2010 with the acquisition of a full crusade rainbow along with some other things. Spent too much but it's all paid off now.

Nice Clemens pickups! I'm almost done reading American Icon, good book! I would love to get one of his 84 Fl. Upd signed. Although I literally just last week started getting back into collecting Canseco I was able to pick up over 550 cards of him! What helped re-spark my interest was I was reading Vindicated which I just finished last night.
