The design is fine, it's the terrible picture of Harper that hurts the card.

I hope we pull one in the group break, and I think it was smart for Topps to add it to Sterling. It will help with sales.

Plus they are even admitting this comes out in 2011. Shame on them for adding something that makes people want to buy the product.....

While this card alone won't hold the product up on the shelves, it does give some sort of chase element to a product that otherwise would have suffered almost immediately.

"Added value" or whatever they want to call it, Topps appears to be trying to not let products die BEFORE they are officially released.

My guess, is that since 1/1's are adding up to 50 for each player...a single auto to /60 is the next best thing...

I don't understand the argument against this being a good thing. The boxes are worth more with this card in them than without it. Why would anyone be against the companies making the wax busting potentially more valuable?
