Which data would you suggest is most important in analyzing a players true talent.

Forget war...use OPS, BA, SLUGGING, AVG or whatever you want...which do you think is the most important in analyzing one's talent.
Take Batting AVG for example.

Would you suggest their career BA or their declining years BA better defines their talent their prime or best years?

It is a good stat compiling/number crunching direct comparison tool. But it's getting more threads than any overhyped prospect or potential big free agent signing I've ever seen. Not saying they're all you..they're not. Just a bazillion threads, lol.
