It reminds me of the morons who post a raw "vintage" of something like a '33 Goudey Ruth and claims they don't know if it's real or not but they found it in grandpa's attic when he died a few years ago. Look at their recent wins and amazingly enough they won the same exact card, as a reprint, two weeks earlier.

Same with more than half of all 1/1 BINs listed now.

Wow, still wants $40 to ship. Hope he has to pay fees on that!

With insurance for something like that, I'd bet it costs more than 40 or close to it.

Ill be shocked if he even gets 10,000 for that card you cant compare that superfractor to the bowman chrome one it was the original one and its bowman chrome.

To each his/her own but Stras has *seven* different Bowman supers and three Topps.

Why does it matter that people know how much he paid for it? If he hit a BIN he obviously thinks he can flip it. I don't really see anything weird about this. People can hate if/when he doesn't get more than $8000, not just because he listed it.

At least he didn't buy a serial numbered single color patch card, then have the same serial numbered card with a multi-colored patch for sale under the same ebay ID.

Why is it wrong for him to want a higher price then he paid? Isn't that the point of prospecting buy low and sell high?

To be sure. But how much of that card's value is propped up by speculation and how much of its value is 'real' at this point?

This is my favorite example this week:
[ebay:3g3ikd6w]190500473108[/ebay:3g3ikd6w] (sweetpickle00 bought for $14.49)
[ebay:3g3ikd6w]230598305219[/ebay:3g3ikd6w] now...voila! The title describes it as a $250 card.

Posting items like this would make for a fun running thread :D
