File this in the useless stats category, but still found it interesting. Today's Red Sox game -
Sox score 8 runs, and no one on the team has more than 4 plate appearances, with no pinch hitters being used.
Thinking about it, 27 total plate appearances (from the home team, walkoff win with 0, 1, or 2 outs in the 9th withstanding) will score 0 runs, every time. The Sox today had 36 total plate appearances, while scoring 8 runs. Figured that doesn't happen very much.
