So much for the worries about his velo decreasing.

This dude deserves to be a SP.

...or they're "tweaking" their guns to dispel any rumors?

That would have to be one helluva tweak. From low 90's to 106?

I don't know that I've heard anyone say he lost velocity...
just that on back to back nights he's not able to dial it to 3 digits.

The timing is a bit curious given all of the speculation around his lack of velocity... from that to suddenly clocking out at 106? Maybe I'm just a skeptic.

It was said many times by many people that he was in the lower 90's on their last road trip.

no way he can sustain that speed and be a SP without suffering injuries. Its a nice thought but not very likely and you rarely see a SP throw in triple digits for that reason.

I can see him being a dominant closer type or a spot starter . perhaps he can throw some off-speed fastballs and make it as a SP lol

Gotta agree also. Just seems that logic points to this. Some pitchers were able to "dial it up " on occasion but sustained 100+ is a sure course for a few DL stints. JMHO
