Well, it has been a tough 5 calender years but the experiment that was Franklin Morales is finally over. He has been traded to the Red Sox for a player to be named later, or cash consideration.

Consequently, Matt Daley will join the Rockies from Triple-A; frankly, it was Rex Brothers' turn to hit the bigs. I suppose we will wait until September.

He is a head-case. I do not see why he would fair well in the mentally-tough division that is the AL East. Nevertheless, I still wish him luck. On the bright side, he was having a respectable year thus far. The new Franklin Morales for the Rockies is Felipe Paulino.

Tough to see him never pan out, but at least it's a few less headaches watching him throw. Hopefully he'll get it figured out someday, there's so much life on that fastball.
