It's the Padres so its a soft landing, but even if he throws a no hitter, no chance hes not demoted after the game.
However, if he does pitch great it will soften the blow if they trade Bedard in a few weeks.

I had such a HUGE stash of his lost in by break-in, so I'm hoping for 3IP, 7H, 4R, 7BB, 2K but the M's still get the win (they have become my second adopted AL team behind MN, b/c of my boy Zack).
I'm just kidding, but if I have to watch Beaven blow up after getting dozens of his cards for less than a $1, i'm going to be sick.

If the M's play like last night, the kid is gonna have to throw a no hitter for a chance to win
He's an innings eater spot pitcher with average velocity on his heater. If he does anything decent tonight, chances are good that his cards won't see a big jump anyways. Chances of him striking out more than 3 batters should be the over under. This hobby loves strikeout pitchers and the finesse guys don't get a lot of love. I hope he does well tonight though because he is one of the few pitchers from the 2007 Draft product that actually made it to the show.

It was a good game, I'm glad he got the win. It just makes it easier for us to trade one of our starters later on in the season

As far As I know he's going to start again this week for Bedard. The fact that Carp was sent down is also another good sign.
