Actually, he paid $2700 for it. I offered $2500 about an hour before he bought it and was turned down.

And Mantle's rookie card is the '51 Bowman, not the '52 Topps. However, I think it's pretty cool that this card is in there at all.

But in any event, looks pretty intriguing and while I won't be breaking/buying any, I'll be looking forward to see what everyone else gets!
