Holy Crap.....I guess this is what prices will do for a player w/o previous GU cards. I TOLD BG to make this!!!

2011 CURT FLOOD PLAYOFF PRIME CUTS TIMELINE GAME USED PRI...

Holy wow, there is another available -[phil]360452011079[/phil] - Cardinals jerseys truly do have some of the nicest vintage packages.

Some other fun ones to go up:

Paige /10 - [phil]110867633216[/phil] - is this a patch?
Chipper Jones Patch Auto /5 [phil]360452916521[/phil]
Joe Jackson Triple Bat - [phil]360452916521[/phil]

I don't think this product pays for box busters but it has some awesome singles.

I am considering a patch a multi colored piece in the same window. The piece is similar to a triple threads multi window jersey. The long stripe above the Gehrig is just to thin. Most buyers would prefer a multi color in the same window. Its just not that nice.

What? Are you off your rocker? For a Yankees Gamer that old this piece is incredible and good reason why it sold for nearly $2K......the single color jersey sold for a whopping $250.

Seems to me like that Gehrig is about as patchy as yankee gamers get...seeing in person would really allow you to know thought. Also saw this [phil]330722357195[/phil] - Frank Thomas "Big Hurt" Notable Nicknames pop up - gotta love that one

I guess that Jackie that George posted before is the same one that a guy on Blowout pulled. Not sure how it's already that high $510 with over 4 days left. Not sure I've even seen a Jackie patch that high not to mention with 4 days left. I can see what Joe is saying with the patch, that actually looks like a big piece of logo or number patching and it would probably be nicer if it was just one window instead of having so many breaks in between.

I'm in total agreement with that...on big patches like that one open window would work better. On standard GU, I can see having the breaks and making the lettering, I guess ;)

Agreed, with standard GU you have to do something new to keep people excited and prices up.

True - although I must say, for the older HOF guys, who played in 1950 or previous - it does seem to hold up fairly well.

I just purchased this one..

It is #'d /5

003-3.jpg

Very nice, looks like you have some stitching etc. there.

Some other Robinson Prime Cuts from 2008 have sold recently

[phil]320854828873[/phil], [phil]260978742517[/phil] and [phil]120889262423[/phil] - makes those patches up right now seem all that much more insane price wise.

I disagree I just don't see this piece that different then a multi window triple threads or premier that sell for 15- 25%the of what this sold for

Phil my point is I am just not sure that is one solid piece behind all the windows. With one window you know it is and it is much more attractive.

Totally agree. A one window jumbo patch of Gehrig would be unreal.

Despite the die-cut windows, it contains a huge piece of vintage PATCH from a Gehrig gamer. Are you being thick on purpose? Or are you just not looking at the card? How many Gehrig PATCH cards can you find me for sale right now?

Are you always this whiney? If it is one jumbo piece why cover it up with all those windows. I dont think there are too many people that would prefer the patch like this over just one jumbo piece. Even you can't argue that but you probably will.
