Question: did anyone who uses SO instead of the standard K for line stats play beyond little league?

Where do you ascertain that a "K" is the "standard" to denote a strike out? Please show what you are sourcing to determine that.

Both NCAA Baseball and MLB use "SO" as the official way to denote a strike out on their statistic lines. So, if anything, it would say something about your level of knowledge (or lack there of) of the game and how the associated statistics are kept if you didn't know this.

he surely did if i was talking about official box scores, but i wasnt, because there's a difference between an official record versus commonly used vernacular which has been around for decades. "SO" looks ridiculous to me and always will. this is the only site out of 5 where posters use it for lines including such super stat nerdy sites like baseballhq.
