BEASTMODE: ON for Carlos Peguero

I was very surprised when Carlos Peguero didn't make the big-league club coming out of Spring Training. During ST, he hit .294 with 5 HR and 13 RBI in 15 games. Seattle must have saw something in his mechanics to send him down to start the season at AAA Tacoma.

On the season at AAA Tacoma, Peguero's line looks something like this:

.358/.450/.851, 9 HR, 17 RBI, 4 2B

Pretty nice little season for a player so far into a season.

Oh, but wait. Peguero has only played in 18 games this season.

9 HR in 18 games. Tha shi cray.

I was as well.
That's when I knew I had to pick up a few cards, because it only a matter of time before the big show.
They were still selling for peanuts then too, which I don't understand. (Same for Springer Chromes now)

Meh, then he will be alright in the OF....hell, Adrian Gonzalez has been playing RF a handful of games over the past week for us. If he can do it then Carlos will be OK :lol:

I always wonder why they kept running a "fish" out there and not giving Peguero a 500 AB shot....

Cmon you let Jeremy Reed go out there for 700 AB's over 2 years and not give a guy with legit power a shot? Especially when your offense resembles something of an obese tee ball team.
