I'll pass that along to Jim Callis. I'm sure he is devastated to hear of your opinion.
Tell Jim that he can read all he wants about these players, but he doesn't go watch them all in person. To say those were the final picks just shows how much Jim Callis thinks he knows. I love the Draft by the way. Let the chips fall where they may. Brew Crew wants for me would be Seager, Roache or Marrero.

Keep in mind, the Nats took someone with questionable health in Purke. Could history repeat itself in Giolito???

The new CBA Draft Rules are a total fail.

If the Pirates go $1mm over budget they will be fined $1mm and will lose their FIRST round picks for the next TWO years.

Now that's how you reward a struggling franchise!

Literally salivating to see who the Nats take. Well, not quite literally...

They could take Stroman, with Storen out. They need a fast-rising RP.

Callis does see a lot of ball and speaks to more coaches and front office guys than pretty much anyone.

I can't believe I called it. The Nats are definitely not afraid to play with fire.

The Nats look at Strasburg and Zimmermann and how they came back from TJ, and said we want talent. Giolito likely won't even need TJ, but the Nats aren't scared.

Davis might have Hamilton-like speed. If you believe the reports.

Just chiming in to say how proud I am the Stros took a chance with a prep position player instead of going college pitcher. I am happy for the hometown team for a day and possibly longer if this kid develops well.

4 years in a row Nats take 1.1 talent. Stras, Harper, Rendon, and now Giolito

I'm hoping Gallo falls to the Rays, but not optimistic.
