What a great last day. I was stuck at the high school today but while I was there, my middle school students begged to get out of class so they could wish me farewell. Here is what I returned to:

That is great, Scott! Always nice to see appreciative students.

I actually burned the imprint of a screw onto my finger last night.

It was an accident, and it hurt pretty bad. Now I know never to touch a lawnmower engine after mowing lawn with it.

Just to help you out in the future, you can add "during mowing" to your list of unsafe times to touch the mower engine too. Pretty much you want to stick with "before mowing."

Dave- great train card!

Andrew - how are things on the job front? I haven't talked to you lately. Hope things are going good.

Wasn't there going to be a mid-year secret santa? Did it happen? How did it go?

No news on the job front. Semester just ended, so the summer will be rough moneywise.

Have an opportunity to do some editing and some research work for a few people. Won't be a ton of money, though.

We may take a quick four day trip this summer, either up to SF or out to New Mexico. Also, trying to get Chris to agree to a three day jaunt out to Death Valley.

How are things your way?

Good luck man, I hope something opens up for you soon. Are there any opportunities for tutoring online, if there is such a thing?

Things are ok here, my job is holding steady and business for the company is good. The family is healthy so I can't complain, except for never having enough money!! lol

Good to hear!

There is online tutoring, but the one company that I might be interested in working for requires a Bachelor's. If all goes as planned, I will be transferring to Cal State Fullerton in a year and a half. Not sure if that will end up happening, but I have set that for my goal to work toward.

Keeps me (relatively) outta trouble...

I'd love to know if that card says that its game used. Obviously I would be interested:)

We are thinking its our cable modem that is the problem now, after having purchased a new router a few months ago. And for some reason I cant get FCB to work on my phone at all since the new format was installed.

Anyone know if there's a Giants fan in the MT? I bought an entire set of these postcards to get the 1987 card for my Zimmer PC, and have 35 other years to do something with. 1 postcard for each Giants team from 1958-1992.
