Yup, I put "other" for 749 complete games. That's about 23 seasons worth of complete games for today's pitchers. Other than Shields last year, the league leaders have been in single digits since 1999.

Since 1957, only one player has had more than one season with season batting average higher than .367, and that's Tony Gwynn. Gwynn's career average is .338, and that isn't even close to Cobb's .367 career average. Even if Gwynn had retired after his last >.367 season, his career BA would have only been .340.
